「ONO BRAND DESIGN　福笑いサイン」が日本タイポグラフィ年鑑2018にて審査委員賞受賞致しました。先日、東京で行われた表彰式に参加してきました。審査委員の粟辻 美早様から大変嬉しいコメントをいただきましたので、紹介させていただきます。

円の中で多様に変化するアルファベットのONO顔は、毎日のように表情を変え、見る人との間に対話を生む。思わず笑顔になってしまう、肩肘を張らないデザインを生み出すのは以外と難しい。見る人を楽しませ、自らも楽しめるユーモアたっぷりなサインには、私たちが忘れてはいけない柔軟な感性が光 ってみえた。（粟辻 美早）

The changing letters in the circles of the Ono face give it a different look each day, creating a conversation with those who see it. It’s more difficult than you might think to create an un-pretentious design that elicits a smile. This sign, with enough humor to entertain the viewer, and the creator too, is brilliant in its unforgettably adaptable sensibility.
